Achievements

Hard work pays off! Click on the Achievements button in the left navigation bar or click on the All Metrics button on the far right of the Competency Metrics section in the Dashboard to view your trophies and certificates.

Once you complete a Learning Path you will be awarded a Certificate and a Trophy when you successfully resolve a vulnerability in a programming language (without using hints!).

Your results from the tournaments you participated in will be displayed under Tournament Placements.

Metrics

We believe it is important to make incremental improvements and fine-tune the approach to solving problems. We have incorporated this belief into our platform by providing our users with several metrics about their learning performance, such as:

1. Average time taken to complete an exercise based on difficulty and technology.
2. Number of attempts taken to complete an exercise.
3. Accuracy of the solution provided for an exercise.
4. The above mentioned and a few more properties are used to calculate the increase in competency for a technology or vulnerability.

Furthermore, you can track your progress by viewing a timeline that clearly displays areas in which you have progressed and domains that need improvement.

All of these can be found under the Metrics tab in the Achievements section.

How to Check my Progress

Step 1:

Navigate to the Achievements Page by clicking on the Achievements button on the left navigation bar. A snapshot of your progress will be displayed on your dashboard. It contains:

1. Run Labs - Number of labs played
2. Points - Total points you scored
3. Trophies - Number of trophies earned
4. Certifications - Number of certificates received
5. Tournaments - Number of tournaments participated
   

Step 2:

You can see a more detailed review of your progress by clicking on the All Metrics button on the right of the Competency Metrics section in the Dashboard or selecting the Metrics tab on the Achievements page for more comprehensive feedback. 

Here you can view your:

1. Competency -  Number of points awarded divided by the total number of available Lab points.
2. Accuracy - Number of solved Labs over the total number of Labs performed
3. Average Attempts to Correct Solution
4. Labs Run - Total number of Labs Run
5. Average Lab Run 
6. Total Labs Time
7. Completed Articles & Videos
8. Time Spent on Articles & Videos

The Metrics Tab contains three charts followed by their respective data in a tabular format. Two bar charts are used to highlight a timeline of your progress in relation to vulnerability categories and technology. A third pyramid graph highlights your progress in relation to the Labs' difficulty levels. 

There are different chart views displaying:

1. Competency
2. The number of Lab exercises the user attempted
3. The amount of time spent on the Lab exercise

How to Share my Achievements

Step 1:

Click the Achievements button on the left navigation bar or click on the All Metrics button on the right of the Competency Metrics section in the Dashboard to view your trophies and certificates.

Step 2:

Scroll down to view your Lab Trophies, Learning Path Certificates, and Tournament Placements. Select the achievement you wish to share.

Step 3:

A pop-up window will appear containing the details of your achievement and a shareable link. 

You can share your results by copying the link and distributing it accordingly, or you can click on the social media icons to create a post.

You can also add your learning path certificates to your LinkedIn profile. You can do this by clicking on the certificate badge that you want to share on your LinkedIn profile.

Then, you will see a modal window with your certificate link. Click the “Add to profile” button to share the certificate to your LinkedIn profile.

Note: You cannot add your lab trophies and tournament placements to your LinkedIn profile.
