Getting Started: Install from the SecureFlag Portal

  1. Log in to your SecureFlag account.
  2. Go to Management Portal and select Details to view your organisation configuration.
  3. Click on the drop down Live Notifications option and select Manage Destinations under Destinations Settings.
  4. Under the Slack option click on the Add to Slack button to install.



After successful installation, you'll see a confirmation page.

Set Up Notifications in a Slack Channel

Once the app is installed, here’s how to get notifications flowing in a specific channel:

  1. Open the channel you want to use.
  2. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. Select Edit Settings > Integrations > Add an App.



  4. Find and add SecureFlag.
  5. The app will post an activation message.



  6. Head over to your SecureFlag account and select Details under your organisation in Management Portal.
  7. Navigate through Live Notifications > Destinations Settings > Manage Destinations and grab the activation code by clicking on the Get Activation Code button.
  8. Paste the code in the slack activation message and click Activate.

That’s it! SecureFlag Notifications will now be posted in that channel.

Customize Notifications

Not all teams are the same, and that’s okay. Admins can customize what type of notifications are posted to their slack workspaces.

All of this can be managed from the SecureFlag Management Interface, so your team only gets what’s most relevant:

  1. Log in to your SecureFlag account.
  2. Go to Management Portal and select Details under your organisation.
  3. Click on Live Notifications option and select Manage Events under Events Settings.
  4. Here you can select the events you want to get notified in slack.
  5. Once done, click Save to save the notification events.
