Preferences
The Preferences tab lets you select your job role, the technologies you are familiar with, and your favorite technology. Based on your preferences, Lab exercises will be recommended.
Security
The Security tab lets you change settings related to authentication. Depending on your organization’s setup, the options under the Security Settings tab will differ.
User login with SSO
If your organization has enabled Single-Sign-On (SSO), users will be required to log in using their SSO credentials.
Note: Two-factor authentication (2FA) is disabled by default under the Security Settings Tab for organizations that prefer SSO.
User login without SSO
Users without SSO will be required to use credentials native to the SecureFlag Platform to log in.
For the first login, users will be provided with temporary credentials that must be changed after logging in by navigating to the Security Settings tab. The user will be provided with an option to change their password, after which they can enable Two Factor Authentication (2FA).
Note: We recommend enabling Two Factor Authentication (2FA) under the Security Settings Tab by users who do not have SSO configured.
