Review Progress

The management interface provides essential metrics to evaluate the performance of your users. The metrics include Total Points acquired, Competency Score, Accuracy Score, Average Attempts to Correct Solution, Number of Run Labs, as well as Total Time spent on the platform.

Progress can be viewed at three levels: organization, team, and individual user.

Note:The three data charts—Vulnerability Categories Metrics, Technology Metrics, and Difficulty Level Metrics—have a similar appearance across organizations, teams, and users. However, the data displayed reflects different levels of analysis: organization-wide, team-specific, and individual user level.

To access organizational level performance data, navigate to the Management Interface and under Manage, click on Organizations . Then, select the Details button.

In this page, scroll down to the Organization Metrics section where you can review:

Total Knowledge Base Articles/Videos
Average Lab Time
Total Lab Time
Total Knowledge Base Time
Live Trivia Solved
Average Number of Attempts to Achieve Correct Solution

Secure Coding Benchmark

This horizontal bar chart measures your organization’s competency score in secure software development and compares it to the average scores of organizations of a similar size.

Further down, you will find four charts followed by their respective data in a tabular format: Vulnerability Categories Metrics, Tactics Metrics, Technology Metrics and Difficulty Level Metrics.

Vulnerability Categories Metrics

These metrics show the performance of the Organization in relation to the vulnerability categories.

Tactics Metrics

These metrics show the performance of the Organization in relation to the MITRE ATT&CK framework Tactics.

Technology Metrics

These metrics show the performance of the Organization in relation to the lab’s technology stacks.

Difficulty Level Metrics

These metrics show the performance of the Organization in relation to the lab’s difficulty levels.

Chart Filters

Use the filters available on each chart to change the data displayed and review performance over different time periods.

Change the Chart View

Use the Competency, Run, and Time buttons at the top center of each chart to switch between the available metric views.

You can also adjust the period shown in the chart. Select:

1 Month to view progress over the last month.
3 Months to view progress over the last three months.
A specific date to view progress from that date to the current date.

Click Export to download the chart data as a CSV file.

View Changes in Performance

In addition to viewing chart progress over time, you can review changes in the overall Organization Metrics by comparing current metrics with those from an earlier date.

Use the time period options above any of the charts to select Today, 1 Month Ago, 3 Months Ago, or a specific date.

After you select a previous time period, the Organization Metrics section displays the percentage change for each metric, allowing you to compare the selected period with the current metrics.

Check User Progress

To access your user’s performance data, navigate to the Management Interface and under Manage, click on Users. Then, select the Details button next to the user.

Note: To search for a specific user, use the available filters.

From this page, you can review all user achievements, including trophies and certificates earned by the user.

Similar to the organization progress view, each user profile includes four charts followed by the corresponding data in a table.

Use the Competency, Run, and Time buttons at the top center of each chart to switch between the available metric views.

You can also adjust the chart period to view user progress over 1 Month, 3 Months, or from a specific date to the current date.

Click Export to download the chart data as a CSV file.

Check Team Progress

Similar to individual user performance data, you can also review the progress of an entire team.

Navigate to the Teams tab, then click the Details button next to the relevant team.

The team details page displays the members of the team and their individual points next to their usernames.

Below the team members, the Team Metrics section shows:

Average Time Spent on a Lab
Total Time Spent on the Platform
