The SecureFlag Teams Integration brings personalized, real-time updates from the SecureFlag platform directly into your Teams workspace.

Installation

Installing From Marketplace

You can find the app on the Teams marketplace.

Installing From SecureFlag Portal

  1. Log in to your SecureFlag account.
  2. Go to Management Portal and select Details to view your organisation configuration.
  3. Click on the drop down Live Notifications option and select Manage Destinations under Destinations Settings.
  4. Under the Teams option click on the Add to Teams button to install.



Add to Channel

  1. Add the app.
  2. Select a channel within a team where you'd like to receive global notifications.



  3. Once added, the bot will post a welcome message along with an activation form.



  4. Head over to your SecureFlag account and select Details under your organisation in Management Portal.
  5. Navigate through Live Notifications > Destinations Settings > Manage Destinations and grab the activation code by clicking on the Get Activation Code button.
  6. Paste the code in the Teams activation message and click Activate.

That’s it! You’ll start receiving real-time updates directly in the selected channel.

Customize Notifications

Not all teams are the same, and that’s okay. Admins can customize what type of notifications are posted to their Teams workspaces.

All of this can be managed from the SecureFlag Management Interface, so your team only gets what’s most relevant:

  1. Log in to your SecureFlag account.
  2. Go to Management Portal and select Details under your organisation.
  3. Click on Live Notifications option and select Manage Events under Events Settings.
  4. Here you can select the events you want to get notified in Teams.
  5. Once done, click Save to save the notification events.



Alert
Personalised direct messages will be posted to individual users based on the customization set in SecureFlag Portal.
