Email Notifications

Email Notifications

The platform will periodically send email notifications. Since training priorities range from customer to customer and fluctuate over subscription periods, we have enabled a configuration option to ensure our customers maintain complete control over their email notification preferences, including intensity and type. This functionality might be especially useful when conducting events and tournaments to keep the users engaged.

To configure your email notification preferences, navigate to the Orgs tab, click Details, the second drop down on the Organization Details is the Email Notifications section and click on Manage Settings.

You can send email to all the active users in the organization by clicking the Send Message button.

A modal window will appear with the option to set the email frequency based on the order of days.

How to Enable and Disable Email Notifications and Sign-Up Notifications

At the top of the model window, you'll see two options:
  1. Enable/Disable SignUp Notifications
  2. Enable/Disable Email Notifications
To enable or disable email notifications and sign-up notifications, just change both the toggle switches to Enabled.

NotesIf you are using password-based authentication, turning off Signup Notifications will still result in users receiving a temporary password.

Setting Up Your Email Notification Frequency

You can set the email notification frequency in the model window, specified in days. Change the number to indicate how often you want users to receive each type of notification.

Example: A frequency of "14" means a bi-weekly email notification.

  1. Active Tournament Reminder: A reminder email for users to participate in an active tournament.

  2. Scheduled Tournament Reminder: An email notification to inform users about upcoming tournaments.

  3. Assigned Activities Reminder: A reminder email to complete assigned activities.

  4. Expiring Activities Reminder: A reminder email informing users about approaching due dates for assigned activities.

  5. Expired Activities Reminder: A reminder email informing users about incomplete, expired activities.

  6. Login Reminder: A reminder email for users to log in and practice labs or complete assigned activities.

  7. First Access Reminder: A reminder email prompting users to log in to the platform for the first time. This reminder stops once they complete their initial login.

  8. Team Managers Reminder: Set the email frequency for team summary reports to be sent to Team Managers. See the sample report below for your reference.

    1. The Team Managers Report includes four key columns:
      1. Members: Indicates the number of team members associated with that team.
      2. Adoption: Shows the percentage of users who have completed at least one lab.
      3. Assigned Activities: Displays the percentage of team members with an individual lab or learning paths assigned to them but not yet completed.
      4. Expired Activities: Reflects the percentage of team members with labs or learning paths assigned to them that have expired and are not complete.
