Track Assigned Activities

Once a user has been assigned an activity, the progress of the activity can be tracked on an Organization, Team, or User level.

Also, progress made by each user for a selected learning path can also be tracked.

Step 1: Navigate to the Orgs tab and click on the Details button next to the organization to which you would like to track an activity.




Similarly, navigate to the Teams tab and click on the Details button next to the team to which you would like to track an activity.




Step 2: Click on the Track Progress button under the Training Activities tab on the Orgs page.




Scroll down in the Teams tab and click the Track Progress button.



Step 3: A modal window will appear with details for all users in that organization or team, including their current progress. The window contains three sections:
  1. Simple Progress Tracking
  2. Training Plan Progress Tracking
  3. Learning Paths Progress Tracking

Types of Tracking

Simple Progress Tracking

This section provides a detailed breakdown of the activities assigned to users.
  1. You can toggle the switch in the top-left corner of the modal window to display the Assignment Type, which lists activities assigned either to an individual or collectively to a group of users called a collation.

    You will also notice that the column headers change to represent the number of users to whom the activity is assigned when toggled to Assignment Type Collation.

  2. Furthermore, you can filter by all activities or only those that are pending by toggling the Assignment Status.

  3. You can also search for activities by typing the user's email ID, the name of the learning path, or the name of the technology in the search box. Additionally, you can filter the results by Team and Tags using the respective dropdown menus.

    Note: You have to change the Assignment Type from Collation to Individual by toggling the switch to search by email ID or to use the dropdowns.

  4. You can view the Status Overview of assignments on the right side of the window, which shows the number of assignments that are In Progress, Not Started, and Expired.

  5. In the rightmost column, you have two buttons: Edit Date and Remove for each activity. These options allow you to update the completion due date assigned to an activity or remove it entirely. These actions apply to the collation to which the activity is assigned. 

    When the Assignment Type is toggled to Individual, the two Edit Date and Remove buttons remain available. However, the update and remove actions are applied only to the selected individual user. 

  6. If you would like to download the organization's or team's progress report, click the Download CSV button. 

AlertImportant: You can remove an activity assigned to an individual user who was part of a collation. However, if you change the completion due date for an individual user belonging to a collation, that user will be removed from the existing collation and placed in a separate collation.


Training Plan Progress Tracking

This section provides a detailed breakdown of the training iteration assigned to the users within the organization or teams.
  1. The dropdown in the top-left corner lets you select an iteration from the available list. The tab next to it displays the iteration's status (active or inactive), the associated activity type, what it's assigned to, and the timeframe.

  2. This window also shows organization-wide metrics grouped into Progress Status and Progress by Team. Progress Status reflects overall progress across the organization, while Progress by Team shows progress broken down by team.


  3. The Team Breakdown tab displays the number of users in each team, their assigned activity, and overall completion status. You can download this data by clicking Download CSV.

  4. The User Breakdown tab lists users within the selected teams. You can search by email address or team name using the search bar and filter by Team, Status, and Tags using the dropdowns. To view users who have not been assigned an activity, toggle Show Not Assigned. You can also download this data by clicking Download CSV.


Learning Paths Progress Tracking

This section provides a detailed breakdown of specific learning paths assigned to users.
  1. Use the Learning Path dropdown to select a specific learning path and see which users and teams it has been assigned to. You can further filter the results using the Team and Tag dropdowns.

  2. The Assignment Status chart shows how many users are assigned to the selected learning path versus those not assigned. The Assignment Progress chart displays assignment activity, overall progress, and current status.

  3. The User Breakdown tab lists users within the selected teams. You can use the search bar to search by email address or team name. To view users who have not been assigned an activity, enable Show Not Assigned. You can also download the data by clicking Download CSV.


For User
Step 1: Navigate to the Users tab and click on the Details button.



Step 2: Scroll down to the end of the page. Under the Assigned Activities section, you can view the user's current progress. You can toggle the switch on the left of the page to display completed activities.

You can also edit the expiry date of the assigned activities by clicking the Edit button and also delete the assigned activities by clicking the Remove button.


By Learning Path
The previous reports provides details of progress for the entire organization/team and for individual users, whereas this report provides the progress made by each user for a selected learning path.

Step 1: To access this report, navigate to the Learning Paths tab and click on the Details button next to the learning path for which you would like to see the progress.

Optionally, you can also search for the learning path by using the search bar in the top-left corner.



Step 2: Once you click on the Details button, a modal window will pop up. The modal window will display the title of the learning path, the technology that the learning path belongs to, and the resources that make up the learning path.
  1. If you are an admin in charge of multiple business units or organizations, you can select an organization from the Organization dropdown.

  2. You can view the certification overview of assignments on the right side of the window, which shows the number of assignments that are Certified, Expired, and Not Certified.

  3. You will also find three options to generate reports listing the users based on whether the assignment is Certified, Expired, or Not Certified, along with their status, Completion Date, and Expiration date. Click on each button to generate and download your report of choice.
